Febiofest is the largest film festival in the Czech Republic and the second most prestigious festival in the country after the Karlovy Vary film festival. Febiofest is a unique European event that originally took place in Prague in two small theatres before gradually growing into its present form.
The festival presents a wide spectrum of contemporary and retrospective examples of high-quality film, including alternative, film-school and amateur works to a diverse viewing public. All the foreign films are screened with subtitles in English.
