The museum offers an exhibition on the development of Prague from the 9th century to the present. Probably the fascinating display is a scale model of Prague created by AntonÃn Langweil using paper. This model took 11 years to complete, representing a unique look at the Old Town, Leser Quarter and Prague Castle prior to the city’s reconstruction at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th Century.

Opening hours: The main building is open to the public Tue-Sun 9 am -6 pm. Mondays closed. The museum remains open until 8 pm and offers free admission on the first Thursday of every month.
