Skating is a very popular urban activity, particularly for the locals. In the summer, many people enjoy roller skating in the parks, whilst during the winter, some areas are frozen over, and people can ice skate. Stvanice Stadium is the oldest indoor ice hockey stadium in central Europe. It offers skating sessions for the public, as well as hosting ice hockey games.
Ladronka: Visit the reconstructed Ladronka skating grounds, which feature a perfect surface, benches, and restaurant to enjoy a rest. Getting there: by tram 22, 25 to the Vypich stop or by bus 108, 174, 179, 180, 184, 191 to the Vypich stop.
BránÃk – KomoÅ™any: Set off on a romantic ride along the Vltava River. The breathtaking nature and scenery will astonish you. Getting there: by tram 3, 16, 17, 21 to the PÅ™ÃstaviÅ¡tÄ› stop.
Letenske sady:Â Located near Stromovka, this popular skating location features popular pubs and scenic views from the pendulum towards the historical centre of Prague. Getting there: by tram Nos 1, 8, 15, 25, 26 to the Sparta stop.
Stromovka: Take a ride through the largest park in the centre of Prague. You will be amazed by the vast space for skating and the enchanting environment. Getting there: by tram 5, 12, 14, 17 to the Výstaviště stop.
