If you are planning a romantic evening walk and instead you are met with dodgy characters, gangs of noisy lads, stag night partygoers and prostitutes, it might spoil your experience. Many locals are now annoyed with this phenomenon, and you’ll see plenty of signs on pub doors stating “No stag parties allowed”. The reality is that Prague stag and hen weekend breaks are very popular and have already built quite a reputation. Why? Several factors are attracting large British and Irish stag groups: low-cost flights, cheap beer, and an abundance of not-so-cheap but not-too-expensive sex clubs. On the other hand, with increasing prices, Prague is becoming a less affordable destination. Consequently, large British stag party groups searching for cheap beer are slowly decreasing, and some of them are choosing more affordable cities like Riga and even Budapest.
