Italian artisans working on the Castle settled here in the 16th century. The former Baroque Italian Hospital has an arcaded courtyard, but the grandest building is the former Lobkowicz Palace. One of Prague’s best Baroque palaces, it has a large oval hall on the ground floor leading out onto a splendid garden. Also, see the stucco sign on the At the Three Red Roses house, dating from the early 1700s.
